    In patients with low trauma fractures, searching for secondary contributors to osteoporosis is recommended, in order to identify curable causes [1–3]. Performing tests is recommended [4] but there are various accepted manners worldwide on laboratory tests that could be performed [5–8]. However, prevalence of abnormalities leading to secondary osteoporosis in different studies of osteoporotic patients varied greatly from 3 to 55% [9].
